How you'll contribute:
As Executive Director, Economic Policy you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level policy advice and driving Queensland's economic policy agenda. In this influential leadership position, you will:
Lead the negotiation, development and implementation of whole-of-government economic policies and strategic directions approved by Cabinet and the Cabinet Budget Review Committee.
Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary policy teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and high performance.
Drive coordinated whole-of-government, cross-jurisdictional and industry responses to complex and emerging economic policy issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Queensland Treasury, government agencies, industry and key stakeholders to advance the Government's strategic priorities.
What you'll bring to the role:
Extensive leadership experience in service delivery, stakeholder engagement and strategy implementation across the public, private or non-profit sectors. With a proven ability to foster collaboration and deliver innovative public policy, you are committed to good governance, professional ethics, and continuous improvement.
