A fantastic opportunity to join our collaborative and friendly team as a Capability Development Officer to deliver training programs and initiatives and drive a culture of continuous learning.
This hybrid, full-time ongoing role within the Capability Development team can be located in Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS5 - $88,834 - $96,829 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the APS6 Capability and Development Adviser you will support the delivery of training and development activities across the Tribunal. This includes coordinating training sessions and events, responding to enquiries, reporting on training attendance and undertaking a range of administration tasks including invoice payments and scheduling. You will also contribute to the ongoing management of the Learning Management System (LMS).
About you:
You will bring experience in learning and development practices and the ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to apply learning and development practices, including adult learning principles to design and deliver tailored outcomes.
- The ability to build productive collaborative relationships and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
- Effective problem-solving, critical and strategic thinking skills, applying sound judgment to both immediate and long-term issues.
- Experience administering the Learning Management System (LMS), including managing users, maintaining data integrity, and supporting effective delivery.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and negotiate timeframes and manage competing priorities.
Qualifications
Desirable:
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management / AHRI Certification / related qualification or relevant experience.
Eligibility
- Required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment
