Due to continued growth, we are looking to welcome a Part Time Medical Receptionist to our reception team.
The successful applicant will have previous experience working with Best Practice. You will also be self motivated, reliable and be a fast learner with enthusiasm in offering exceptional patient service and care.
A minimum of 2+ years of medical receptionist experience is required for this position.
Remuneration is based on experience and level of duty required.
The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday but must be available to cover weekends if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients
- Answering incoming calls
- Processing accounts
- Scanning, faxing and emailing.
- Managing confidential practice correspondence either electronically or paper based.
- Managing the Doctors and Nurses appointments
- Assisting the Practice Manager with daily tasks
- Australian permanent residency or equivalent work rights are required

Desired Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Medical or Allied Health receptionist
- Best Practice Software Knowledge
- Exceptional understanding of Medicare billing, mixed billing and compliance of Medicare.
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
- Ability to prioritise and organise effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
- Minimum of 2 years experience
