We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Casual OSHC Educator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently studying, or interested in pursuing, a career in Education and Care, Teaching, Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field.

About the Role
As a Casual OSHC Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive environment where children can learn, play, build friendships, and develop confidence. You will work alongside a supportive team to ensure children are safe, engaged, and thriving throughout their time in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the safety, wellbeing, and supervision of children.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, school staff, and fellow educators.
- Creating engaging experiences that reflect children's interests and strengths.
- Encouraging children's independence, confidence, and sense of belonging.
- Contributing ideas, observations, and reflections to support our program.
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of afternoon tea and other food experiences.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment through general cleaning and daily housekeeping tasks.
- Working collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.

- Currently studying towards, or have completed, a relevant qualification.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- A willingness to support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of St Columba's School.
Essential Requirements (or Willingness to Obtain)
- Working With Children Check.
- National Police Clearance.
- First Aid Certificate.
- CPR Certificate.
- National Child Safety and Mandatory Reporting Training.

- Before School Care: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 9:00am
- After School Care: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 6:00pm
