About the role
The PCD Systems and Reporting Analyst will support the operational management, administration and continuous improvement of Council’s people systems, including PayGlobal and SuccessFactors. The role works across system support, reporting, data quality and process improvement to help ensure our systems are reliable, secure and aligned with business needs.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, technology partners and vendors, you will investigate system issues, support approved changes, maintain reporting controls and provide practical recommendations that improve the employee and customer experience.
About you
You are a collaborative and customer-focused professional with experience supporting HR, payroll, workforce management or other business-critical systems. You bring strong analytical skills, sound attention to detail and the ability to turn data and system information into clear insights, reports and improvements.
You communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders and can explain technical information in a practical and accessible way. You are organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality, privacy and strong governance practices.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will administer, monitor and support Council’s people systems to ensure they operate reliably, securely and in line with privacy, cyber security and governance requirements. You will manage user access, workflows, templates, forms, fields, reference data and related documentation in accordance with approved controls and business needs.
You will prepare standard and ad hoc reports, maintain data quality and develop people insights that support evidence-based decision-making. This includes identifying and resolving data integrity issues, maintaining reporting processes and helping stakeholders access accurate, timely and meaningful information.
You will contribute to system optimisation and continuous improvement by analysing processes, documenting requirements, recommending practical solutions and supporting approved changes. You will also assist with system releases, project activities, user guidance and vendor coordination to help deliver responsive and effective PCD services.

Employment Requirements
- Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in HR people systems, business administration, information systems, data analytics or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience administering or supporting HR, payroll or people systems, preferably including SuccessFactors, PayGlobal or comparable platforms
- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
- Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record check.
