Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Early Psychosis, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist mental health nursing expertise within a community-based multidisciplinary team. You will support the delivery of evidence-based, person-centred care while driving quality improvement, education, and service development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical leadership and advanced nursing care for young people experiencing early psychosis.
Deliver specialist consultation, assessment, care planning and support across the continuum of care.
Lead quality improvement, clinical governance and service development initiatives.
Mentor, educate and support nursing and multidisciplinary staff to achieve best-practice outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced mental health nurse with a passion for supporting young people and families through recovery-focused care. You thrive in collaborative environments and demonstrate strong leadership, clinical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Extensive experience in mental health nursing, ideally within youth mental health or early psychosis services.
Advanced clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and influence multidisciplinary teams while driving quality improvement.
