The Finance Manager plays a central leadership role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support informed, strategic decision‑making across the organisation. The position provides expert financial guidance to senior executives and ensures strong financial governance, compliance, and operational integrity.
You must possess a tertiary qualification in Finance or equivalent field and demonstrate at least 2 years of at level experience. This full-time role is based in Sydney NSW and entails a renumeration of $110,000 to $120,000 plus super. Only shortlisted candidate will be notified.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
§ Lead financial strategy and planning to support organisational performance, sustainability, and growth.
§ Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior management.
§ Oversee month‑end and year‑end processes, including GL journals, consolidation entries, property and equity pool journals, and the preparation of accurate management reports.
§ Prepare and review BAS returns, finance board papers, and statutory financial submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
§ Coordinate external audit and year‑end close, maintaining adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.
§ Provide financial oversight for complex projects and assets under construction, ensuring robust cost control and reporting.
§ Supervise payroll verification processes and offer leadership, coaching, and support to the transactional finance team.
§ Build strong, constructive relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering expert financial advice that supports operational and strategic outcomes.
§ Utilise SAP and other financial systems to maintain accurate reporting, workflow approvals, and efficient financial operations.
Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
