About the Opportunity
Due to continued company growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager to join our Mackay team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the end-to-end delivery of construction projects while building your capability in a well-established client-side consultancy environment.
As the Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager, you will:
- Assist with consultant engagement and contractor appointment.
- Support contract management and construction phase activities.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and help build strong client relationships.
- Draft reports, briefs and other documentation for Senior Project Managers.
- Assist with scoping of works and tender processes.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager within a consulting or construction environment, along with a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes for clients.
- Qualifications in, or current study toward, Project Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a consulting or construction environment.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
- An understanding of contract administration and project management processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with team members to deliver outcomes for clients.
