Commercial Laundry Assistant – Opportunity to Grow into a Training Role

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to help process and handle commercial linen for the accommodation and hospitality industry. Your role will be to ensure all linen is cleaned and presented to a high standard before being returned to our customers.
For the right person, this position offers the opportunity to develop into a Training Team Member role, where you'll help onboard and mentor new staff, share best practices, and contribute to maintaining our high standards across the team.
About the role:
- Process, sort and handle commercial linen.
- Operate both automated and manual laundry equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Over time, develop the skills and knowledge to assist with training and supporting new team members.
About you:
- Physically fit with good upper body strength.
- Good hand-eye coordination and able to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and a positive team player.
- Flexible with work hours and able to work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with the potential to guide and support others.
- Experience in laundry, cleaning, washbay, production, processing or dispatch is preferred but not essential.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional public holiday shifts.
- Casual or Part-time

Pay: $25.77 – $32.21 per hour
