About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our practice team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with General Practitioners and support a diverse patient population across a range of clinical and preventative health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and assist with care planning
- Administer vaccinations and injections
- Perform wound care and dressings
- Assist with chronic disease management programs
- Undertake preventative health activities
- Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Provide patient education and health promotion advice
- Manage clinical stock, sample cupboard and equipment as required
Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in general practice nursing
- Experience with chronic disease management and care planning
- Knowledge of Best Practice or similar clinical software
- Accreditation and quality improvement experience
