About the Role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certificate III and Diploma qualified Educators to join our team at Bossley Park Montessori Academy in a permanent full-time capacity (38 hours per week).
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging and safe learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. Working alongside experienced educators and leaders, you will contribute to delivering high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Montessori philosophy.
This position is rostered across the centre's operating hours, Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building positive and meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Supporting the planning and implementation of engaging learning experiences.
- Observing, documenting and monitoring children's learning and development.
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Promoting children's wellbeing, independence and confidence.
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant legislation.
- Working collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with families regarding their child's learning and wellbeing.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or the willingness to obtain them prior to commencement.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children's learning and development.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A commitment to a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week).
Previous Montessori experience is welcomed but not essential, as comprehensive Montessori training will be provided.
