About the Role
As the Director, Strategy, Performance, Risk and Governance, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for strengthening TMR's corporate governance framework. Working closely with senior leaders, you will ensure the department's Strategic Plan aligns with government priorities and that governance, risk, and performance reporting processes support informed decision-making.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and implementation of TMR's Strategic Plan and enterprise business planning framework.
Establishing and maintaining TMR's enterprise performance management framework and reporting processes to support executive oversight.
Driving effective governance and enterprise risk management practices across the department.
Providing high-level strategic, governance, performance, risk, and compliance advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Leading and developing staff, modelling ethical leadership, and contributing to the collective leadership of the Governance Branch.

Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in organisation-wide strategy and business planning, including the development of an enterprise strategic plan.
Proven capability and knowledge in enterprise risk management and performance reporting at an enterprise level.
A strong understanding of public sector governance, accountability, and legislative compliance frameworks.
The ability to translate complex data into clear insights that support executive decision-making.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships, manage competing priorities, and negotiate outcomes with diplomacy and tact.
Proven experience in managing and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver organisational outcomes effectively.
