We are seeking a passionate, energetic and dedicated Job Placement Officer to join our Campbelltown team on a full time basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting job seekers in finding suitable employment opportunities and build relationships with local employers and the community and help candidates achieve their goals by linking them to employers who can capitalise on their expertise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Network with local businesses and community groups and identify employment opportunities.
- Providing guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Organising and conducting job fairs, workshops and networking events.
- Ensure record keeping and database entries are accurate and timely.
You will have:
- Previous job placement, recruitment or sales experience and a flair for business development and networking.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong digital and administration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous Employment Services/ Workforce Australia experience highly regarded.
