We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Technical Information Officer to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.
Your responsibilities will include:
As a critical member of our team, the Technical Information Officer is responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing technical data associated with the UH-60M configuration. The role is responsible for determining the applicability of incoming technical information and the associated incoming and outgoing actions as they impact the configuration baseline.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Document registration, control, and distribution
-
Record incoming technical data in Objective and/or Emerald
-
Review incoming technical data and determine applicability to the UH-60M Black Hawk program
-
Distribute technical data to appropriate stakeholders
-
Share information between LMA, Commonwealth and external parties, ensuring data sensitivities are maintained
-
Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data to support engineering reporting
-
Coordinate action items on technical data through to closure
About you:
Although a background in an Aviation Rotary Wing environment is desirable, it is not essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate that they have a background in Administration, Data Entry, or Document Management, are a proficient user of Windows based computer systems, and have fast and accurate data entry skills.
To be successful in this role you will also have:

Sound experience with Data Management tools, such as Objective
-
Experience working within a Defence environment
-
Experience working in a Defence System Program Office, experience managing export controlled data, and experience with Document Editing/Publishing Tools are also highly desirable.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
The location of the role will be Enoggera Barracks, Brisbane, Queensland.
