Experienced Motel Housekeeper – The Matador Motel

We are looking for an Experienced Motel Housekeeper to join our friendly and professional team at our busy motel in Sale.
About the Role
The housekeeping role involves all aspects of cleaning and servicing motel rooms and public areas, including:
- Stripping and servicing guest rooms
- Making motel beds using triple sheeting
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning bathrooms and guest areas
- Restocking rooms with amenities
- Cleaning public areas
- Assisting with breakfast service when required
- Assisting to put clean linen orders away
- Working efficiently as part of a team
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous motel housekeeping/cleaning experience – essential
- Have experience making motel beds using triple sheeting
- Be fit, energetic and able to work at a fast pace
- Have a strong eye for detail and take pride in their work
- Have a reliable and positive can-do attitude
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Be flexible and reliable with availability
Hours & Pay
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Shifts generally between 9:00am and 2:00pm
- Availability to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays is required
- Award rates – $33.00 per hour
