About us;
Harvie Enterprises Pty Ltd is a well-established transport and logistics company operating throughout Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Truck Driver to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities;
* Operate Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Transport freight to metropolitan and regional locations throughout Western Australia.
* Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects.
* Ensure loads are secured in accordance with load restraint requirements.
* Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time.
* Comply with all road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements and company policies.
* Maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition.
* Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Essential Requirements;
* Current Australian HC or MC Driver Licence.
* Tipper and tipping work experience.
* Minimum two years' experience operating heavy vehicles.
* Good driving record.
* Sound knowledge of road safety and fatigue management requirements.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and regional travel where required.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol screening.
Desirable;
* Dangerous Goods Licence.
* Basic mechanical knowledge.
* Experience with refrigerated, container or general freight transport.
