About the Role
This is not a standard retail merchandising role.
This is a hands-on, field-based position where you’ll manage multiple locations across Sydney—keeping machines stocked, well presented, and operating reliably day-to-day.
The role includes basic troubleshooting and use of hand tools, but it is not a technical trades or heavy repair job.
You’ll work independently across a variety of sites, solving straightforward issues, maintaining presentation standards, and keeping everything running smoothly.
This role will suit you if:
- You enjoy being on the road and staying active
- You’re comfortable fixing simple problems as they come up
- You can manage your own workload without constant supervision
This role will NOT suit you if:
- You are only interested in visual merchandising or customer-facing retail
- You are looking for a fully technical or trade-based maintenance role
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between sites across Greater Sydney in a company vehicle
- Restock machines and maintain consistent retail presentation standards
- Ensure machines meet presentation expectations (cleanliness, layout, stock levels)
- Identify and resolve common, straightforward issues using basic tools
- Record servicing activity, stock levels, and issues using digital systems
- Communicate regularly with the operations team
- Assist with light warehouse and stock tasks as required
What the Role Involves
- Working independently across multiple locations each day
- Following a structured plan and managing your own schedule
- Fixing basic issues on the spot and escalating when required
- Maintaining consistent standards across all sites
- Occasional overnight travel within NSW
Skills and ExperienceWe’re looking for someone who is:
- Practical and hands-on — comfortable using tools and fixing everyday issues
- A problem-solver — able to think logically and act quickly in the field
- Reliable and organised — able to manage time and follow through on tasks
- Independent — confident working alone across multiple locations
- Detail-focused — takes pride in presentation and quality of work
- A clear communicator — able to stay in touch with a remote team
You should also have:
- Awareness of retail presentation standards (this is a core part of the role)
Preferred Background (Not Essential)
- Field merchandising or multi-site retail roles
- Retail operations or store support roles
- Logistics, warehousing, or delivery roles
- Field service or hands-on operational roles
You don’t need industry experience, but you must be comfortable using basic tools, resolving practical issues, and maintaining a high standard of presentation day-to-day.
