Integrated Disability Support Services (IDSS) is seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Administration Assistant to provide general office and front-of-house support.
This casual role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and is happy to assist with a broad range of day-to-day administration, reception, office support and light facilities tasks.
About the role
As our Administration Assistant, you will support the smooth operation of the office by assisting with reception duties, general administration, office presentation, basic record keeping, supplies, onboarding materials and fleet-related tasks.
You will work under general direction and follow established procedures, while using good judgement to manage routine tasks and provide helpful support to staff, clients and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:

Greeting and assisting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Responding to general administrative enquiries and referring more complex matters as required
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintaining office presentation, including kitchen and staff areas
- Monitoring office and kitchen supplies and advising when stock needs to be reordered
- Processing and reconciling petty cash transactions in line with procedures
- Preparing onboarding packs for new starters
- Binding and laminating documents, including induction and onboarding materials
- Assisting with fleet vehicle coordination, including cleaning and roadworthy/safety checks
- Liaising with participants regarding roster-related changes
- Providing general support to the wider administration and people & culture functions
About you
We are looking for someone who is practical, trustworthy and willing to pitch in where needed. You will have a professional manner, good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple routine tasks during a short shift.
To be successful, you will have:

Sound verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly and professional approach with clients, visitors and staff
- Basic computer literacy, including email and word processing
- Confidence using standard office equipment such as a photocopier, binder and laminator
- Good organisation and time management skills
- The ability to follow procedures and work under general direction
- Trustworthiness when handling petty cash and basic financial records
- Willingness to assist with light physical tasks such as stocking supplies, watering plants and helping with vehicle presentation
Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience in reception, administration or customer service
- Current driver licence, particularly if assisting with fleet vehicle tasks
