Part-time | Tuesday to Thursday | Sale, Gippsland
As VicGrid's Administration and Engagement Officer, you'll be the friendly face of our newly established Gippsland Regional Hub in Sale. You'll keep the Hub running smoothly, welcome visitors and support community activities, meetings and events. This is an ideal opportunity for someone building their career in administration, engagement or customer service or an experienced professional looking for a rewarding three-day role.
Please note: This is an on-site role at VicGrid's Gippsland Regional Hub in Sale. Due to its public-facing responsibilities, remote or flexible working arrangements are not available.
What you will deliver
- Create an inviting, professional and inclusive experience for visitors, community members and stakeholders.
- Keep the Hub organised, well presented and ready for the day.
- Coordinate visitor access, room bookings, meetings and general enquiries.
- Support community engagement activities, meetings and drop-in sessions.
- Maintain records, shared documents, information materials and basic reports.
- Assist the Manager and regional team with invoicing, scheduling and day-to-day administration.
what you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in a reception, administration role coordinating day-to-day administrative activities such as visitor access, room bookings, meetings, correspondence, documentation and office supplies.
- Experience working in a public-facing or community-facing environment and engaging respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems, with the ability to maintainaccurate records, shared documents and basic reports.
- A current first aid qualification is desirable, or a willingness to obtain and maintain the required qualification.
