Role Overview
Gear Project is looking for a motivated and hands-on Site Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a site-focused role supporting our Project Managers across the day-to-day delivery of commercial construction and fit-out projects. You’ll be involved in site coordination, measurements, deliveries, subcontractor communication and project documentation, helping ensure projects continue to run smoothly and efficiently.
This role would suit someone with experience in commercial construction who is organised, proactive and keen to develop their career within project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of projects
- Attend sites and accurately conduct and record site measurements
- Coordinate material deliveries, collections and site requirements
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records and site information
- Assist with site inspections, quality requirements and compliance checks
- Assist with sketches and technical drawings when required
- Help identify and resolve day-to-day site issues to keep projects moving
Experience with AutoCAD and/or SketchUp is preferred.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced site and office environment
