Under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the specified classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage and deliver event and catering services at Australian Parliament House through a high standard of food and beverage service across all outlets and event venues to a wide range of stakeholders, including parliamentarians, departments, corporate clients, professional conference organisers, visitors, and the general public.
Manage and oversee all sales enquiries and bookings, maintaining the integrity of data within the event booking system and ensuring all financial and administrative processes comply with DPS policies and procedures, while providing advice to clients on event solutions.
Lead end-to-end coordination and delivery of events and logistics, including developing proposals, managing stakeholder expectations, resolving complex issues, and working closely with back-of-house and operations teams to ensure seamless execution, accurate invoicing, and post event-evaluation.
Monitor and maintain service standards and procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, providing advice, information, and solutions on event venues and catering services, and applying knowledge of contemporary hospitality trends to support innovation.
Undertake and coordinate administrative and reporting functions, including analysising event performance and contributing to operational planning and decision-making.
