Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is also comfortable taking on Support Worker responsibilities. This hybrid role combines clinical expertise with hands-on client care, ensuring a holistic and person-centred approach to well-being. With possible opportunities of team leader role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, airway management.
- Able to make clinical observations and act in emergency situations
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, daily activities, outings and household tasks.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any significant health changes to the care team.
- Educate and guide support workers and carers on supporting clients with complex health needs.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS policies, safety standards, and organizational protocols.
- Promote client independence, social connections, and positive health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care plans, assessments, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate resources and services.
Competencies and Experience:
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience delivering services to adults with disabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
- Proficiency in care documentation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, overnights and weekends.

Position: Casual, with opportunity to go permanent to the right participant
Pay: $45 – $60 per hour
Expected hours: 30– 38 hours per week

- Day shift
- Afternoon shift
- Active Overnight shift
- Monday to Sunday
