My Garden Maintenance provides high-quality garden care and soft landscaping services to clients who value attention to detail and professionalism. We take pride in doing things properly—not rushing jobs—and delivering beautiful, well-maintained gardens.
About the Role
As part of our team, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Snipping (vertical edging)
- Mowing and hedging
- General plant pruning
- Leaf blowing
- Weed and pest identification and management
- Garden waste removal
- Occasional full garden tidy-ups and transformations
You’ll start in a two-person team while you’re trained and familiarised with our operations. Once confident, you’ll work independently across various Brisbane locations, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Must be able to meet/pick up the work ute in Strathpine (4500) by 7am daily
- Manual driver’s licence required (or currently obtaining one)
- Comfortable communicating with clients about their garden needs
- Able to assess garden requirements and work independently
- Flexible availability—hours vary week to week and seasonally (currently 4–5 days/week)
Skills & Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- Basic gardening skills: snipping, hedging, mowing, blowing, weed/pest management
- Confidence using equipment: snippers, mowers, hedgers, chainsaws, blowers, sprayers
- Australian manual driver’s licence and legal right to work
- Willingness to expand horticultural knowledge (certification a bonus)
- Familiarity with tool maintenance is a plus
