About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Field Service Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will maintain, service, and troubleshoot plant and equipment across multiple sites. You will help ensure equipment reliability and provide strong support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Maintenance & Testing
- Routine plant and equipment tests, inspections, and maintenance.
- Onsite plant and equipment servicing.
Emergency Response
- Responding to emergency callouts to minimise downtime and address urgent issues.
Project Support
- Site setup and commissioning of plant and equipment.
Customer Support & Training
- Providing technical support to customers.
- Delivering plant and equipment servicing training.
Required Skills Qualifications & Experience
Education/Certificates
- Trade qualification in plant, HD, diesel, or other fitting disciplines (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Auto Electrical experience or certification (desirable).
- Current driver's licence (preferred for site-based roles).
Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in diesel engine maintenance, including fault diagnosis and repairs
- Practical knowledge of diesel-driven pumps in both field and workshop settings
- Exposure to auto-electrical systems and general equipment servicing
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable, safety-conscious team player with a proactive, customer-focused attitude
- Experience with brands such as Cornell and Cummins (highly regarded)
