About us:
The Child Development Service is a community based, multidisciplinary, paediatric early intervention assessment allied health service. The service provides integrated and holistic assessment, brief intervention/transitional supports and referral for children aged 0-16 years with complex developmental needs and their families across two distinct service streams: 0-5y Child Development Service (CDS) and 5-16y Paediatric Allied Health Team (PAHT). This role sits operationally under the Team Leader for the Child Development Service and provides clinical services within a multidisciplinary pathway. This position reports professionally to the CHHHS Director of Physiotherapy.

About your role:
In your new role you will....
Provide general administrative support including maintaining stationery and equipment, handling of incoming and outgoing mail, collection and distribution, photocopying and filing, booking and management of rooms as required through RMS (Resource Management System) for videoconferencing, telehealth, clinic rooms, groups and meetings.
Operate with a high level of autonomy to achieve work targets with limited supervision and contribute to the team goals in a changing environment. Manage workload appropriately: prioritising tasks, ensuring work is completed with designed timeframes, demonstrate high work ethics and a high level of pride in work.
Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders and staff, ensuring high standards of service are provides when answering client enquiries via the telephone ensuring the enquiries are directed to the appropriate staff member within acceptable timeframes. Screen calls and re-direct where appropriate, answer routine queries and prioritise calls.
Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes and work practices within the team structure. Identify and report areas for improvement and recommend/collaborate enhancements to existing practices.
