Woodroffe Hotel is a 103-room hotel in Southport, conveniently located close to Southport South tram station, Australia Fair Shopping Centre and Broadwater Parklands. We are currently seeking a reliable Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and help ensure our rooms are clean, comfortable and guest-ready.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors and surfaces
- Replace linen and towels, and replenish toiletries, tea and coffee, and other room supplies
- Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, floor closets and back-of-house areas
- Report room damage, maintenance issues and lost property to your supervisor
- Use cleaning materials with care and follow safety procedures
Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a room attendant or in a similar role is preferred
- Attention to detail, time management and a reliable work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Friendly and respectful with guests and team members
- Comfortable in a physically active role
- Available to work morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
Pay and conditions
- Part-time
- $26.44 per hour base rate, plus superannuation
- Applicable penalty rates apply, up to $59.49 per hour
- Training will be provided
