About the role:
As a Master/Diagnostic Mechanic Technician with the Hyundai Service at Arundel Commercial Centre, you will be the go-to expert for complex diagnostics and high-level repairs, playing a central part in keeping the service team performing at its best.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults that require advanced technical knowledge, keeping your skills sharp and your problem-solving instincts challenged
- Carrying out high-quality servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles, with the satisfaction of work that meets manufacturer standards every time
- Supporting and mentoring junior technicians, giving you real influence over the team's capability and culture
- Collaborating closely with the service team to ensure workflow runs smoothly and customers leave with confidence in their vehicles
- Maintaining accurate documentation so your expertise is reflected in every job completed
About you:
You bring a level of technical mastery that earns respect in the workshop, and you take pride in getting every job done properly.
More about you:
- A completed automotive trade qualification is essential, with a Master Technician certification or manufacturer-level training highly regarded
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex faults across modern vehicle systems
- Demonstrated competency in working safely on high-voltage and hybrid vehicle systems.
- Proficient in performing advanced electrical wiring diagnostics and interpreting workshop manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in submitting technical support cases and liaising effectively with the manufacturer to resolve complex technical issues.
- A current Queensland driver's licence
