You want to do work that makes a positive difference to local communities
You've been developing your skills and are ready to work on projects that matter to the people of NSW. You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.
In this role, you'll:
Be part of a team delivering critical road infrastructure across NSW, helping to keep roads safe and resilient by supporting the construction, maintenance and renewal of road surfaces.
You’ll join our Roads and Maintenance crew, undertaking a variety of hands-on tasks, including pavement and drainage construction and maintenance, as well as working with roadside traffic signals and signage.
With opportunities to develop new skills—such as obtaining traffic control tickets and gaining exposure to plant operations—you’ll build valuable experience within a supportive team environment.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you will play a direct part in delivering safer, smoother roads and long-lasting infrastructure.
The position is based in Heatherbrae. You will primarily work night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 pm to 2:30 am, on a 9-day fortnight roster (with every second Thursday off). Applicants must reside within a 100 km radius of the Heatherbrae works depot.

Previous experience in roadwork or labouring is advantageous but not essential—we’re primarily looking for the right attitude and commitment.
