About the Role
Mater Foundation is seeking a highly organised and analytical Philanthropy Data Specialist to support our Philanthropy team through the effective management, analysis and reporting of supporter data.
Mater Foundation helps to underpin an extensive network of hospitals across Queensland, a world-class research institute and a nationally accredited education provider.
As a Philanthropy Data Specialist, you will support the Philanthropy team through the effective management, analysis and reporting of supporter data across Major Gifts, Gifts in Wills, and Trusts & Foundations. You will maintain the accuracy, integrity and governance of donor data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM, provide insights that support fundraising performance and strategic decision-making, and analyse donor giving trends and supporter engagement to identify opportunities for growth, retention and stewardship. Working closely with philanthropy colleagues and internal stakeholders, you will prepare and quality assure data for campaigns, reporting and prospect research activities, while contributing to continuous improvements in data quality, reporting capability and CRM processes.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
About You
- Experience in CRM administration, data management, business intelligence or fundraising operations (ideally 3+ years).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Experience working with donor, supporter or customer databases.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM platforms will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the accuracy, integrity and governance of supporter data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Provide insights that support fundraising performance, pipeline management and strategic decision-making.
- Analyse donor giving trends and supporter engagement data to identify opportunities for growth, retention and stewardship.
- Prepare, analyse and quality assure supporter data for fundraising campaigns, prospect research, segmentation and external engagement activities.
- Work closely with philanthropy colleagues and internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve CRM processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, reporting capability and operational efficiency."
