As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce the opening of our new Mackay branch and are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team.

About the Role
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing our presence throughout Mackay and the surrounding regions. You will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and providing customers with the right equipment solutions to meet their needs.
This role combines both office-based and field sales, allowing you to build lasting customer relationships while developing new opportunities across the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
· Develop new business opportunities throughout the Mackay region.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Visit customers on-site to understand their equipment requirements.
· Prepare and follow up quotations in a timely manner.
· Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
· Promote Attachment Warehouse’s full range of excavator attachments and equipment.
· Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
· Attend field days, trade events, and customer demonstrations when required.
Customer Service
· Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
· Provide product advice and recommendations.
· Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
· Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding products, pricing, and availability.
· Maintain long-term customer relationships through regular communication.
Administration
· Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system.
· Prepare sales reports and activity updates.
· Coordinate with warehouse and administration teams to ensure smooth order processing.
· Assist with stock enquiries and product availability.
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will possess:
· Previous experience in sales, account management, or business development.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
· Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
· Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
· A strong desire to grow your career within a successful Australian business.
Highly Regarded (but not essential)
· Experience within the earthmoving, construction, agricultural, or machinery industries.
· Knowledge of excavators and attachments.
· Existing relationships within the local construction or civil industries.
Full product training will be provided for the right candidate.
