Warburton Health is seeking Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greet all patients and visitors on arrival in a professional and courteous manner on arrival
- Answer all incoming calls
- Book patient's appointments via phone or in person
- Managing patient check-in procedures, including updating patient records and verifying all details are still up to date
- Manage Doctors appointment book
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy legislation and practice protocols
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and data entry
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
Previous medical reception experience is advantageous but not essential. To be successful in this role you will possess solid administrative and computer skills, including confidence using Outlook, Microsoft Word, saving and managing documents including PDFs and learning new software quickly. Experience using MedicalDirector, Pracsoft, and HotDocs is advantageous.
We are seeking a casual team member with the possibility of going to permanent part time in the future. Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturday 8.30am - 4pm.
You will be required to work Monday 8.30am – 1.30pm, Thursday, 1pm - 6pm and 3 Saturdays of the month, 8.30am - 4pm. You will also be available to cover annual leave and sick leave when required.
You will be required to provide a currently police check before commencing employment.
