We're looking for an experienced
Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from inception through to completion. If you're a commercially astute leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the delivery, commercial performance and leadership of assigned projects. You'll oversee every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while fostering strong client and community relationships.
The position will be based out of Melbourne, with the need to travel periodically to regional areas as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of commercial construction projects from design through to defects liability.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cashflow, variations and commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing project teams.
- Drive outstanding safety, quality and environmental performance.
- Manage procurement strategies, subcontractor engagement and programme delivery.
- Champion Indigenous engagement, employment and procurement opportunities throughout project delivery.
About You
You'll bring:
- Strong experience delivering commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on programme and to budget.
- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
