We are currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team working at a government organisation. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of high-end software engineering and scientific research, providing technical solutions for a high-profile division.
This position is designed for an engineer with 1-2 years of experience-someone who has moved past the 'Associate' level and is looking for more autonomy and technical complexity. You will be a "technical linchpin" within the group, contributing to scientific programming, DevOps tasks, and the maintenance of mission-critical information systems.

Full Stack Development: Build and secure front- and back-end applications using modern best practices.

Scientific Programming: Support the division by undertaking specialised programming and data-focused tasks.

Cloud & DevOps: Manage and deploy services within Microsoft Azure and support CI/CD workflows.

Technical Advisory: Provide high-quality technical advice to the broader team to promote best practice methodologies.

System Stewardship: Ensure the continuous operation and performance of high-profile information systems.

Collaboration: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant code.

Essential:

Technical Mastery: Strong proficiency in Python and .Net

Experience: 1-2 years of commercial experience (stepping up from an Associate level).

Communication: Ability to work efficiently in a team and explain technical solutions to non-technical peers.

Cloud Knowledge: Practical familiarity with Microsoft Azure services.
