About the Role
As a Senior Programs and Partnerships Officer – Natural Capital Services, you will lead the collaborative design and delivery of natural capital services that support land managers to:
- Understand and manage their natural capital
- Demonstrate sustainable land management practices
- Make informed decisions about environmental markets and emerging opportunities
You will coordinate the delivery of a range of natural capital services across Local Land Services, working closely with regional delivery teams and other specialist staff to ensure services are practical, effective and responsive to landholder needs.
This role requires strong program planning, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, along with an understanding of natural capital concepts and their application in agricultural and environmental landscapes.
About You
What you need to do this role:
- Demonstrated experience in project management, service design and program delivery.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships and facilitate consultation across diverse groups.
- Understanding of the needs and issues facing land managers in achieving productive and sustainable land use outcomes.
- Knowledge of natural capital and related concepts, including environmental markets and ecosystem services.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental management, agriculture, environmental economics, policy, program management, or a related discipline, highly desirable.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel across regional NSW as required.
