About the Role
This is a community-based position where no two days are the same. You’ll work with children and adults across homes, schools, supported accommodation, and community settings in and around Southwest Sydney helping people live safer, more meaningful lives.
Your role will include:
Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plans
Interviewing clients and their support networks
Completing observations and analysing behavioural data
Administering clinical assessments within your scope
Designing strategies that build skills, independence, and quality of life
Implementing risk assessment measures to keep participants safe
Implementing Behaviour Support Plans with participants, families and their support networks
You’ll be supported by experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners, structured supervision and regular team training, and a genuinely collaborative team environment.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who:
Has experience in disability support/ support coordination/ teaching, or is an allied health professional
Has experience or strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support
Is confident of meeting the NDIS Behaviour Support suitability requirements (if new to the role)
Is passionate about supporting children, adults, and families
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
Brings reflection, creativity, compassion, and strong problem-solving skills
Holds a current NSW driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for work
Has (or is willing to obtain) a WWCC and NDIS Worker Check
Is able to work flexibly to support our clients as we often support families before/ after school time
