About the role
This rewarding role supports Aboriginal women on their journey towards wellbeing, stability, and self-determination. Managing a small caseload, you will provide culturally responsive case management, coordinate supports, advocate for clients, and strengthen connections to community. Working closely with justice and support services, you will help create positive opportunities and pathways for Aboriginal women to thrive.
About You
You are passionate about walking alongside Aboriginal women, supporting their strengths, choices and aspirations in a culturally safe and respectful way. You build genuine relationships grounded in trust, understanding and connection, and are committed to empowering women to achieve their goals and strengthen their wellbeing. Working collaboratively with families, community, support services and justice agencies, you provide advocacy, practical support and coordinated care that creates positive opportunities and lasting outcomes for Aboriginal women and their communities.
- Desirable:
- Qualifications within the Justice system is desirable.
- Diploma in Community Services.
- Case management experience.
- Requirements:
- Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
