HME Diesel Fitter – Gove Operations
Location: Gove, Northern Territory
FIFO Roster: Cairns or Darwin (exit Brisbane, Brisbane to Cairns at candidate expense) | 4 Days on, 4 nights on, 8 off

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our safety focused and high performing Heavy Equipment Maintenance team based at our Gove operation. Our fully equipped workshop is well maintained to ensure you have the tools and environment needed to excel in your role. You’ll live in the idyllic coastal town of Gove, with full relocation provided, working across our operations.
You’ll maintain the site’s heavy mobile equipment and ancillary fleet to ensure this critical equipment is available to meet operational requirements. This role offers the opportunity to develop your troubleshooting skills through breakdown response and in-house repairs, providing varied and rewarding work. Where you will be working
Our Gove Operations have been supplying the global aluminium industry with world-class bauxite for more than 40 years. Located in Australia’s Northern Territory, the operation produces approximately 12 million tonnes of bauxite annually. With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management, and closure activities following the 2017 decision to close the site’s alumina refinery.
