This role would suit someone who already enjoys surgical nursing and anaesthesia, or a nurse keen to develop these skills with support and mentoring.
We believe good medicine starts with good leadership, open communication and a well-supported team. Our practice offers something a little different. With experienced veterinarians, an in-house surgeon and a high surgical caseload, our skill set sits between a traditional GP clinic and a referral hospital.
We manage most cases on site, giving our nurses exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases and the opportunity to fully utilise their skills. Our practice is a nurse led team where they are involved with all aspects of running the day and allocated with specific roles to keep things organised and efficient.
We’re not interested in burnout, heroics or seeing who can stay the latest. We believe in well-staffed teams, high standards, sustainability, continuous learning and finishing on time.
What you won’t find here:
- Chronic understaffing or a “just cope” mentality.
- Cliques, favouritism or toxic culture.
- Unpaid overtime or regularly leaving late.
- Being treated as “just a nurse”.
What you will find: •
A permanent full-time position with predictable rosters.
- Protected lunch breaks and support from experienced vets and nurses.
- Exposure to advanced surgical procedures and complex medical cases.
- Genuine teamwork and leaders who listen and are accountable.
- A clinic where quality medicine, efficiency and kindness go hand in hand.
We’ve spent the last 17 years building practices differently. Many experienced nurses are exhausted by clinics that promise “supportive teams” and “we’re family” but deliver chaos and burnout.
If you want to be part of a team that values people, embraces high standards and believes work should be rewarding rather than exhausting, we’d love to hear from you.

Their mentorship, compassion and dedication to client care created such a positive environment.
