About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a leadership role where you can shape how work gets done and support a team to deliver their best every day. As a Team Leader in Settlement and Funding Operations, you’ll lead a high-performing operational team, bringing together people, process and performance to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for our customers and partners.
A big part of this role is supporting the settlement and funding requirements across our BOQ Specialist, Business Banking and Commercial lending portfolios, meaning you’ll be working closely with teams and stakeholders in some of our more complex and fast-moving lending environments.
You’ll be close to the detail while also looking ahead, using insights, trends and feedback to continuously improve how the team operates and how we deliver across the end-to-end lending journey. From supporting day-to-day operations through to embedding change and uplifting capability, you’ll play a key role in creating a strong, accountable and customer-focused environment.
This role also partners closely across the business, building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to broader initiatives that strengthen and simplify how we work. It’s a role where your leadership, curiosity and ability to bring people on the journey will really make a difference.
About you
You’re an experienced operations leader who enjoys supporting and developing others while delivering great outcomes as a team. You bring strong communication and stakeholder skills, and you’re confident setting direction, providing clarity and influencing positive outcomes across a range of situations.
You’re comfortable balancing customer, risk, business and people priorities, and you stay calm and focused in a fast-moving environment. You use data and insight to guide decisions, and you’re always looking for ways to improve how things work - whether that’s through coaching your team, refining processes or supporting change initiatives.
Most importantly, you bring a people-first leadership style. You’re someone who builds trust, creates a positive and inclusive team environment and takes pride in helping others grow, while delivering consistently strong outcomes together. If this sounds like you – come join the team
