Camden Council is seeking an experienced and technically capable Asset Programs Officer to support the effective management, renewal and capitalisation of Council infrastructure assets.
Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Management, this role will lead asset inspections, support asset data integrity and contribute to the development of prioritised works programs across a broad range of infrastructure assets, including stormwater drainage, bridges, roads, buildings, public spaces and sports fields.

Essential:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in asset management and knowledge of infrastructure assets such as stormwater drainage, bridges, roads, buildings, public space and sports fields
- Previous experience in monthly capitalisation of all dedicated assets and End of Financial Year Reporting
- Previous experience in the development of prioritised maintenance and renewal programs using available asset data and inspections
- Previous experience and ability to carry out intermediate to high-level asset inspections and assessments such as Stormwater NSW’s GPT Audit or SMEC and Austroads Road Visual and Profile Survey
- Extensive knowledge on asset renewal treatments specifically in stormwater drainage, bridges, roads, buildings, public space and sports fields assets.
- Previous experience in writing and reviewing technical specification of the treatments
- Competence in verbal and written reporting of results of technical investigations mainly associates with road stormwater, infrastructure, building, public space assets
- Able to develop report in Asset Management System. Working knowledge in SQL.
- Extensive knowledge in Geospatial Information System (GIS) software. Able to setup a dataset from scratch and performing select or update query in mapping system
- Experience in supervising and managing consultants
- Understanding of EEO, WHS and sustainable environment management principles in the workplace
Desirable:
- Previous experience utilising the Conquest and/or Authority asset management system
- Experience in systems integration
