ANS PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Welder for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) in Strathfield. NSW. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.
Title: Welder and/or Metal Fabricator, Full- time position
Salary: A$ 90,000.00 to 98,000.00 plus super
Work Location: In person.
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:
Requirements
· Certificate 3 including 2 years experience or Certificate 4 in Engineering-Fabrication Trade/(Welding)
· Proven experience as Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for at least 2 years.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Physical stamina and strength.
· Attention to detail and precision.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
· Interpreting blueprints: Understanding detailed plans to guide fabrication.
· Cutting and shaping metal: Using tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces. · Welding and joining: Employing different welding techniques to fuse metal parts. · Inspecting and testing: Ensuring the integrity and quality of the fabricated parts. · Diagnosing issues: Identifying problems with metal components.
· Performing repairs: Fixing or replacing damaged parts.
· Conducting regular maintenance: Keeping equipment in optimal working condition. · Adhering to standards: Following industry and safety standards.
· Inspecting finished products: Conducting thorough inspections for defects.
· Documenting processes: Keeping records of fabrication and inspection activities.
· Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects · Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met
