CBRE is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our award winning Charter Hall Office account team. Based in Brisbane, this hub based role offers hands on exposure across a portfolio of premium commercial office assets and the chance to learn from highly experienced site based FM teams.
This is a genuine learning role, well suited to someone with FM, property or trade experience looking to step up, as well as those bringing strong transferable skills from adjacent industries such as hospitality operations, customer facing trades, retail operations or building services.
You'll build broad FM exposure quickly through variety, mentorship and a structured development pathway.
In this role, you will:
Support the day to day operations of multiple commercial office assets across the Brisbane portfolio
Provide hub coverage across sites, stepping in during leave periods and busy operational phases
Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, site inspections and compliance reporting
Build working relationships with tenants, contractors and Charter Hall stakeholders
Develop technical FM knowledge through structured mentoring from senior FMs across the account
About You
Some experience in facilities, property, building operations or a trade is ideal, however we are equally open to candidates bringing strong transferable skills from a customer focused, operational or services background
An interest in commercial property and a willingness to learn
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
Some exposure to building services or contractor coordination is beneficial but not essential
