We’re seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Process Analyst to support Sundale’s Strategy and Enterprise Projects function. In this role, you’ll play a key part in understanding business needs, documenting and improving processes, supporting project delivery, and helping bridge the gap between business and technology.

About the Role
As our Business Process Analyst, you’ll operate within the Enterprise Project Management Office, EPMO, working closely with project sponsors, project managers, business teams, vendors and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse current-state processes and translate business needs into clear, actionable insights.
You’ll support the design of effective business process solutions, contribute to business cases, develop process models and help ensure solutions align with Sundale’s strategic goals.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and document business and user requirements through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases and other methods.
- Map current-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into clear functional requirements for project teams and developers.
- Create process models, requirement specifications, diagrams and charts to support effective project delivery.
- Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility and alignment with standards.
- Support research, planning, design, development and deployment of new business solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
- Communicate business requirement changes, enhancements and issues clearly to project managers, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
About You
You are a logical, detail-oriented and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working with people to understand problems, improve processes and deliver practical outcomes. You’ll bring excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy project environment.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling and verification.
- The ability to create clear, systematic and consistent requirement specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Strong understanding of business systems, application development and software development lifecycle concepts.
- High-level facilitation and presentation skills, with experience engaging staff at all levels of an organisation.
- A pragmatic, can-do approach to delivering quality outcomes in complex business and technical environments.
Required Qualifications or Certificates
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business systems analytical role, preferably in a complex program, project or support environment.
- Experience in Business Process Model and Notation, BPMN, will be highly regarded.
- Aged care, healthcare or other complex regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
- National Police Check.
- Pre-employment medical assessment.
