About The Role
We are seeking a full time tax accountant to join our expanding Corporate Tax team.
This role offers a mix of advice to our clients between corporate and international tax related issues who operate across a broad range of industries including resources, construction and technology cross border work.
Areas of expertise include tax compliance, tax effect, cross border matters relating to overseas corporates expanding into Australia, DTA work, startups, structuring, and corporate tax advice such Employee Share Schemes.

Working one-on-one with one of our Directors, this role offers personal and technical development, the opportunity to provide a broad range of tax advisory services to a broad range of clients operating across a wide range of industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participating in the tax planning and consulting process for a variety of clients, from fast growing early-stage, large private groups to public companies both national and international.
- Participation with M&A’s, group restructures and dealings with the ATO on various corporate tax implications.
- Preparation and review of corporate tax returns, year-end tax accounting and provision work, FBT returns and BAS.
- Assist with preparation of Webinars and Seminars as required.
- Presentation at client meetings dealing with technical issues.
- Encourage continuous improvement by participating in team training and commit to investing in your own technical development.
- Take ownership of assigned engagement from start to completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce / Business or Law Degree
- CA Qualified or equivalent
- Ideally at least 2- 3 years’ Corporate Tax experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
- Ideally currently in public practice.
- Must be proficient in communication (both written and verbal) and English is their first language.
- Positive can-do attitude and attention to detail a must.
- Has an aptitude to tax law.
