As a
Senior Settlements Officer, you will be a key member of our Settlements Team responsible for managing new client relationships from approval through to settlement and handover to Operations.
You will ensure onboarding activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies, while delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the process. You'll also act as a trusted subject matter expert, supporting colleagues, driving operational excellence, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

How you will make an impact:
As a Senior Settlements Officer you will be part of our dynamic Settlements Team and will play a pivotal role by being the first point of contact for our clients. You will use your excellent relationship building skills and passion for customer service excellence to help deliver an outstanding client experience throughout the on-boarding process.
What you will do:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and settlement process for new Debtor Finance facilities from approval through to take-on and handover.
- Review, coordinate and validate client onboarding documentation, ensuring all pre-settlement requirements and approval conditions have been satisfied.
- Complete debtor verifications, bona fide checks and trading validations in accordance with company policies and risk requirements.
- Liaise with Sales, Operations, Risk, Legal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and timely settlement outcomes.
- Support the execution of legal and security documentation and ensure all records are accurate, complete and audit-ready.
- Provide guidance and support to Settlements Officers on complex matters and contribute to team capability, process improvements and knowledge sharing
What you will bring with you:
- Demonstrated experience within settlements, client onboarding, lending operations, financial services or a similar environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance and risk management.
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset with experience supporting process improvement initiatives and sharing knowledge with others.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving and numeracy skills
