Your key responsibilities:
Analyse, investigate and resolve complex payroll processing problems to meet agreed time standards.
Accurately perform payroll functions including rostering and HR master data maintenance in a timely manner.
Process master data and rostering adjustments in payroll systems in accordance with payroll standard business processes and relevant industrial legislation.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary Human Resource Management issues, as well as the ability to access and interpret relevant industrial awards, agreements, statutory regulations and legislation relating to payroll.
Demonstrated advanced conceptual, analytical and problem solving abilities in relation to complex payroll and establishment issues including utilising a risk management approach to the prioritisation and management of complex cases.
Proven ability to support and mentor payroll staff and contribute to ongoing individual and team development and effectiveness and the achievement of agreed performance objectives.
