About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Urologist to join Barwon Health's Urology team. In this role, you will provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient and operative urological services to both public and private patients while working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams. You will also contribute to teaching, clinical audit, research and the supervision of junior medical staff and surgical trainees.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality inpatient, outpatient and operative urological care.
- Participate in the Urology after-hours and on-call roster.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching, clinical research, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
What we're looking for
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology (essential).
- Specialist registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality urological surgical care.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred, multidisciplinary care.
