The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within Emergency Department settings
- Assess, triage, and manage a diverse range of emergency presentations
- Respond confidently to deteriorating patients and emergency situations
- Support acute care and inpatient services where required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Work within small, supportive healthcare teams in regional and remote island communities
- Adapt to varied clinical presentations and changing workloads

What You'll Bring
We're seeking confident and adaptable nurses with strong emergency nursing skills and the ability to thrive in regional and remote healthcare environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Skills in triage, assessment, resuscitation, and acute patient management
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification essential
- Ability to work autonomously and confidently within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate nursing experience within Australia
Highly Regarded
- Previous rural or remote nursing experience
- Experience working in small hospitals or multi-purpose health services
- Additional emergency or critical care qualifications
