Details: The Compliance and Operations business units within the ACT Revenue Office are seeking Assistant Directors for upcoming vacancies.
To be a strong contender for these critical and challenging roles, you will have had experience in project development and implementation, be forward thinking and self-motivated. You will be adept in critically analysing complex issues and problem-solving using business intelligence data and information.
As an Assistant Director, you will be part of a highly productive, agile, resilient and cohesive team. You will report directly to the Director and Senior Director. You will be required to lead, direct, support and supervise team members in a dynamic customer service environment.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their ability to read, understand and apply legislation and undertake work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will use these skills to manage and resolve complex queries from taxpayers and other stakeholders. You will be required to respond to complex and sensitive correspondence and enquiries with limited supervision while ensuring compliance with the ACT’s tax laws. You may be required to engage with taxpayers as part of assessment, investigation, enforcement and education activities.
