About the role
We are growing our Solutions Consulting team in ANZ and seeking someone who can serve as a trusted technical partner to prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle. The best people in this role are strong at value selling: finding the business value a prospect has not yet put into words for themselves, buried in their data, their customer journeys, or the gaps in their current stack, and building a case around it. But finding the value is only half the job. You also need the technical depth to walk that same prospect from the case you have built into exactly how MoEngage's platform and its AI decisioning engine deliver on it, not just gesture at the outcome.
This is a foundational hire for the region. You will have real input into how the ANZ Solutions Consulting practice takes shape, from the demo environments you build to the way discovery gets run.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Partner with Account Executives through the full sales cycle: discovery, solutioning, demos, proof of concepts, RFP responses, and handoff to the implementation team
Run structured discovery conversations that uncover the business value a prospect has not yet articulated for themselves, in their data, workflows, or current tech stack, and build that into a clear value case
Design and deliver product demonstrations that walk a prospect from that value case straight into the platform mechanics that deliver it, showing exactly how MoEngage's core capabilities and AI decisioning engine get them there
Lead technical validations and proof of concepts that prove out the value case with the prospect's own data, working with engineering and solutions architecture where needed
Write clear, accurate responses to RFPs and RFIs, including technical architecture and integration questions
Build reusable assets such as demo scripts, discovery frameworks, and competitive positioning material
Represent MoEngage at regional events, customer workshops, and webinars
Share what you are hearing from the field with Product and Engineering
Help onboard and support new team members as the ANZ team grows

About the role
You will join our established Solutions Consulting team based out of London and take ownership of MoEngage's largest and most technically demanding evaluations across the UK and DACH. At this level, the job is equal parts art and science. The art is value selling at an enterprise scale: reading a complex account well enough to find value they have not yet articulated for themselves, whether that is buried in a legacy system, spread across regional entities, or hiding in a process nobody has questioned in years, and building a case that gets a room full of stakeholders to agree on what matters. The science is walking that same room through exactly how MoEngage's platform and its AI decisioning engine deliver on that value, down to the architecture and the mechanics, not just the promise of it.
This role sits close to Sales leadership on the region's most important opportunities and is expected to set the bar for how MoEngage runs a technical sales process at the enterprise level.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Own the end to end technical strategy for MoEngage's largest and most complex enterprise evaluations across the UK and DACH.
Identify and build a value case around what a prospect has not yet recognized in their own data, systems, or customer journeys, particularly in accounts with legacy infrastructure or ownership spread across regional entities.
Lead discovery and solution design for prospects with complicated environments: legacy core systems, multiple regional entities, and strict compliance requirements.
Walk enterprise stakeholders from that value case into the specific technical mechanics that deliver it, showing exactly how MoEngage's core capabilities and AI decisioning engine work, at a level of detail that holds up under scrutiny.
Design and lead technical validations, proof of concepts, and security or compliance reviews, including topics like data residency, GDPR, and infrastructure architecture.
Act as an informal mentor to other Solutions Consultants: pair with them on complex deals, review demo narratives, and share what is working in discovery and objection handling.
Partner closely with Sales leadership on account strategy and deal planning for the region's top opportunities.
Build reusable, enterprise grade assets such as reference architectures, competitive positioning, and RFP response frameworks.
Represent MoEngage in senior and executive level conversations, workshops, and industry events across the UK and DACH.
Bring structured feedback from top tier deals back to Product.
Requirements:
3 to 6 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical account management, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in MarTech, CDP, CEP, or broader SaaS
Skilled in value selling. You can identify and articulate business value a prospect has not put into words yet, and build a case around it that resonates with different stakeholders
Just as comfortable working backwards from that value case into the technical detail of how MoEngage's platform and decisioning engine actually deliver it
Working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and basic data integration patterns such as REST and SFTP
Comfort with SQL at a level that lets you dig into data questions during discovery or a proof of concept
Strong presentation skills. You can take something technical and make it clear to a marketer, a product manager, or an engineer, depending on who is in the room
A genuine interest in AI driven personalization and decisioning. You do not need a data science background, but you should be able to speak to it confidently
Comfort working independently in a remote setup while staying closely connected to a global team across time zones
Existing right to work in Australia
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, workshops, and events
Experience competing against or working alongside platforms like Braze, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, CleverTap, Insider, Netcore, or WebEngage
Familiarity with AI-first architecture patterns: event driven pipelines, real time feature stores, model serving, and how a decisioning engine plugs into a broader customer data stack
Hands-on comfort with client-side integration nuances: mobile and web SDKs, push notification frameworks like APNs and FCM, webhooks, and REST or GraphQL APIs
Exposure to concepts like propensity modeling, multi-armed bandits, or recommendation systems
Understanding of how AI agents and workflow automation fit into a broader customer engagement architecture
Background working with retail, fintech, media, or travel brands in ANZ
